Tim and I (Ev-short for Everett) met in Spring 2010 on a Compatible Partners (an affiliate of eharmony.com) and went on a couple dates. We decided that wasn't the right time for us to be together in our lives. We went our separate ways but remained friends and kept in contact. From going to Hamburger Mary's for Drag Queen Bingo to Rockband on the PS3, we still got to talk to each other... Enter Winter 2010!!

We began talking about dating again in late 2010 and we officially started dating. I would spend weekends at his place while still living at a house I owned with my brother, Mike. Eventually, I sold my house with my brother and moved in with Tim. We got engaged shortly after when Tim proposed to me at Texas Stadium while we were visiting our friends, Dawn and Shawn in Dallas! Funny thing was, the same time he was planning to propose, I was as well. :)

About a year later, we were married at the Cherry Building in Cedar Rapids, IA on January 6th, 2013 in front of several of our friends and family!!!

In the Spring of 2016, we decided that we wanted to move out of the city limits and into more a country-style home. Our goal was (and still is) to eventually have a horse on our farm. We bought a 15-acre farm. We have a large backyard for our dogs to run around in. We also have to large pastures that are shared by our chickens and alpacas. Then beyond that, we have an 8-acre field which a farmer is currently leasing from us.

Our journey continues...
